The unit of competency requires that participants perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on a manikin placed on the floor. Without this being performed we cannot issue a certificate. The trainer will do everything they can to make it easier such as allowing extra time, providing a chair to assist getting up or down or providing the opportunity to complete the assessment in private however, in order to issue the nationally recognised certificate they must see that task performed

In some cases, your certificate will be issued electronically the same day you complete your training. However, this is dependent on the course you are completing and other factors. Typically, your certificate will be issued within 48 hours. If you need it urgently, please inform the trainer and they will attempt to prioritise processing your paperwork
